With a heavy heart, today we’re announcing that Peachtree will be closing this week. Friday, October 14th will be our last day serving you all. We want this to feel more like a celebration of life than a funeral, so here goes:
First and foremost, there aren’t enough words of gratitude to properly say thank you to our incredible team (many who have been with us since day one!), our loyal customers and this amazing and supportive community. It’s been a dream come true from the very first sandwiches we served to friends to serving our lifelong favorite local sports teams, local schools and other wonderful community organizations.
We know we’ll be asked, “but why?!” We can say that the timing wasn’t quite right, the space was never the best fit, rising costs didn’t help, etc - all of those are true, and yet one thing is for certain. We did what we set out to do, which was to serve delicious food and provide great hospitality in a place where our guests felt comfortable and welcome.
This isn’t the end; we’ll let you know when it’s our time to run it back. Although we’re closing the store, the Peachtree brand will live on, and we plan to come back in the future. In the meantime, please come see us and enjoy some brisket, bacon or chicken! We will be serving until our inventory runs out!

Located in the heart of Dewitt, NY, Peachtree Sandwich Company is a restaurant created by Syracuse native David Anastasio. David’s culinary experience spans decades of cooking and eating great food: from studying at the Culinary Institute of America, to working in restaurants here in Syracuse, NYC, Vermont, Philadelphia and Chicago, to many, shall we call them, ‘culinary research trips’ to the South (seems like a polite, Southern way of saying, “eating your way through the South,” no?). David endeavored to bring his favorite flavors of the South back home, and this Southern-inspired sandwich joint focused on big flavors, scratch-made dishes and a comfortable vibe was born.
At PSC, the food is simple - made with great care and quality ingredients. We take the time to brine and smoke our own bacon; we roast our turkey breast and roast beef; we grind chuck and brisket in-house to give our burger its bold and delicious flavor. Our goal is to make you feel familiar after your first visit, and we look forward to serving you a great meal!

Can I order food online?
YES! Just click on the button at the top of the home page. You will be prompted to input your order and payment info - then come see us and pick up your food without having to wait!
Do you offer catering?
We DO! We offer great sandwich platters! We also make salads and cookie & fudge platters for large groups. Just give us a call, and we’ll happily accommodate your order.
Do you have anything for my kids?
Absolutely! We have some items specifically geared toward kids that come with a side of fries, fruit or yogurt, but we’ve found that some kids just ask for a plate of bacon… and we’re happy to accommodate! Happy kids = happy parents!
Do you have any vegetarian or vegan options?
Although we serve a ton of meat here, we are super happy to accommodate someone who is vegetarian or vegan. Our marinated and roasted portobello mushrooms are delicious - or - feel free to modify any of our items to create something delicious and appropriate for your needs.
Do you have gluten-free bread?
We do have gluten-free bread, and we can make any sandwich on it. It’s best toasted! Also, any sandwich can be made on a bed of greens, which turns the sandwich into an amazing salad!
